I bought these classes earlier today because they are attractive and inexpensive. I placed them in the dishwasher to clean them all prior to use, and one was cracked and a small fragment of glass had broken away after the cycle was done. I then checked Amazon's reviews, and found that this was a common experience. They're going back to the store tomorrow. Customer Review: Disappointed

I agree that these glasses are great looking and easy to hold BUT they are fragile. We had one break the first time through the dishwasher (assumed it was our fault) then about a month later one broke in the dishwasher BEFORE we even ran it. Same kind of break as the first one. I am so disappointed because I love them otherwise but I am taking them back . . I need glasses that can stand up to everyday wear AND wash!Customer Review: Fragile but still I love them

I agree with most of you that these glasses are a bit fragile(not much though). We have been using them for our daily use for last 2 years and always wash them in dishwasher but still have a few of them left around. They look beautiful and are priced reasonably. We love these glasses so much that we are again looking for the same ones.Customer Review: Very Fragile!

After seeing these glasses at one of our favorite restaurants, Ruth Chris Steakhouse, we searched for them on the internet and found them here at Amazon. By far, Amazon was priced best. The problem is that these glasses break easily. We are averaging a broken glass per week. We didn't break even 1 glass per year with our old set. They are beautiful but not durable.
